SŁOWACKI/BLOG, or SŁOWACKI@EU, is a site or space for those who find the oeuvre of Juliusz Słowacki particularly close, or for those who should like to become more familiar with it. There, you can exchange thoughts, observations, remarks and comments, and share your own discoveries (not necessarily limited to great Romantic-age journeys).
The blog’s original title, SŁOWACKI@EU, is meant to epitomise the openness of Polish Romanticism to European trends and to telegraph the deep need to make Słowacki’s work part of broader international contexts. The posts to be published, revolving around the poet’s travel and, more broadly, his entire work, are meant to fulfil popularisation as well as didactic purposes. Scholars and, on equal footing, lovers of the Romanticist poet’s works, are encouraged to publish their scholarly or journalistic texts. Do not miss the opportunity!
HOW TO CONTRIBUTE
The concept of the blog, edition of the texts submitted and selection of iconography is responsibility of Ms. Milena Chilińska. You can communicate your readiness to contribute, e.g. by getting your text published, via the Facebook or Instagram site, or by emailing to m.chilinska@al.uw.edu.pl
